Follow the Arkansas River from its headwaters near Leadville to the eastern plains on the Kansas border in this hour-long documentary that illuminates the importance of this vital resource.
Following the film will be a panel led by the Upper Arkansas Water Conservancy District and Fremont Adventure Recreation.

Join us for our third Adventure Kids Series of the season! We'll be hiking at the Royal Gorge Park Trails.
Directions to Royal Gorge Park: From Cañon City, head west on Hwy 50. At the turnoff for the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, turn L (south). Travel 3.33 miles to the turnoff to the East Ridge Campground. At the Y, bear right and head toward the large parking lot near the restroom.

What: 1st annual Fremont Adventure Recreation Farm-to-Table 5Mile Run & Dinner, a 4-lap run showcasing the historic farmland and current agricultural offerings of Cañon City’s growers and culinary artists.
When: Saturday, August 25th, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Where: Fun run start / finish and dinner at The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey
Cost: $30 per person ($25 youth or no wine) - includes run entry, commemorative reusable shopping bag, light dinner, four wine sample pairings, and entertainment. $25 for spectator meals.
