Photographing the Royal Gorge Trails

Elk Horn Loop, aka Overlook Loop
You can drive to the apex of the Elk Horn loop / Overlook Loop, walk about 10 feet down to the trail, and access some AMAZING scenery. These photos are taken on the trail (after about a 2 minute walk from the parking area) looking west toward the Bridge and east toward the city.
East Ridge Campground to S'Mores > Dream Weaver
If you park at the East Ridge Campground, you have access to a few possibilities. You can access another high point (and some cool trees) via Dreamweaver. A 10-minute walk up the hill will give you panoramic views of the area, some cool "ghost" trees. Beware of cows.

You could also head south on Cañon Vista for some nice shots of the city below. Not 360 views like on Dream Weaver, though.
LeView
This 15-20 minute walk will give you an incredible view of the river and some rock formations. You'll pass through juniper trees and a fun rock formation on the way there, and pop our in the clear, on a giant rocky outcropping that is perched on the rim of the Gorge. Incredible views.
